can the logger get turned off by any other means besides entering the password?

First of all, my name is Aaron, and I tasked by my brother to watch over his sons activity on their laptop. And I think one of his son could turn off the logger without entering any password to the system. Is there any way to turn it off without entering the password? And to be noted, I use the PRO version to watch over them.

the log(on dashboard) only says:

Closing by the User or Installer...

While in the previous time, there is no indication of him opening the kidlogger and entering the password.
Please help. thank you.
