Are recorded voice files deleted automatically?

I have my phone setup to record incoming and outgoing calls. In addition I have the secret number feature turned on so it will record when dialed from a specific number. My question is when/how are .3GP voice files deleted from the phone? I don't want the phone storage to be filled with recordings. Also how often are log files deleted?
